About the Role
Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) would have:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD
Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients
Note: Prior experience as a Behavior Technician or working with individuals with ASD is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates. Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) would be expected to:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Collect data on client progress and behavior
Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions
